Earlier this week I stumbled into this tiny little store in the Bay Plaza Mall called Flormar, though its location was small the products are powerful. The Italian brand of professional grade products and cosmetics filled the two walls of the storefront with everything from primers, to polishes in a variety of shades pigments and finishes. Although I wasn’t shopping for any new skin care or cosmetic items at the time I can never leave a good nail lacquer behind and picked up a few.
I prepped for my Mani using a nail care kit comprised of my favorite OPI products.
I always start by removing any existing polish or residue by just washing my hands and wiping them off with nail polish remover. Then I shape, file and buff my nails using a combination of OPI nail files afterwords I dust away any debris with OPIs The Fluffy. Once buffed and shaped, I use OPIs Avoplex Exfoliating cuticle treatment and Avoplex Nail cuticle replenishing oil to exfoliate and rejuvenate my nails.
Once my nails are hydrated and happy I apply my chosen color, this time around I went with Flormars Willow Burch and I absolutely love it ! Though this nail polish is a bit thin, the brush makes application super smooth and streak free. In two coats I was in nail heaven, I simply finished up the look with a top coat of Glass Effect by Flormar which gave my nails a beautiful reflective shine.
